When Maria Ericson Levin launched Nudie Jeans back in 2001, she had already passed many stages with in the textile industry, especially in the jeans market.

It was about only using high-quality fabrics, wanting to afford the appropriate buttons and zippers and yet still being able to fairly renumerate manufacturers and suppliers. Designed in the Swedish town of Götheburg, the collections rather bank on under statement than on „loud fashion“. They are inspired by everyday life and the people on the streets, never by cat walk sorcelebrities. All the textiles hail from Italy, Japan, Turkey or the USA, the pieces are equally manufactured in Italy, Portugal and Japan. The range of goods focuses on the „Dry“ models, that is unwashed qualities in different fits.
